    Great Taste Tour with Lunch

Discover the flavours of Tairāwhiti Gisborne on this fully-guided taste tour. Relax and unwind as we visit three sites each in their own unique laidback atmosphere.

One of the most popular Gisborne cider producers is Harvest Cidery, which produces a range of ciders using locally sourced apples and pears. Their ciders are crafted using traditional techniques, and are known for their crisp, refreshing taste.

Gisborne has a growing craft beer scene, with a number of local breweries producing a range of delicious beers that showcase the unique flavours of the region.  Sunshine Brewery an award-winning brewery produces a range of handcrafted beers, including the popular Gisborne Gold ale, as well as a range of seasonal and limited-edition brews. Their beers are brewed using traditional techniques and locally sourced ingredients.

The Gisborne wine region is relatively small, with around 2000 hectares of vineyards. The region has a mild maritime climate, with warm summers and cool winters, which is ideal for growing grapes. The soils in the region are mostly alluvial, which are fertile and well-draining.  Gisborne’s wine region is also known as the “Chardonnay Capital of New Zealand” due to the quality of its Chardonnay grapes.

We take care of the driving so you can relax and enjoy the aroma and flavours that our region has on offer.
