Great Taste Tour
When it comes to great food and wine, Tairāwhiti Gisborne is New Zealand’s land of abundance. The expansive Pacific coastline offers plenty of seafood, the fertile lands produce a bounty of fruits and vegetables, and the plains are home to grapes that yield rich flavors perfect for winemaking.
Tairāwhiti Gisborne is often called the ‘Chardonnay capital of New Zealand’ – but what you may not realise is it’s also home to the oldest microbrewery in New Zealand, Sunshine Brewery.
This tour is the perfect trip for those who have an afternoon to spare. You will be sampling locally made wines and beers, with a light lunch or platter at one of our selected sites.
The Great Taste City Cycle Tour offers easy riding, with options to travel anywhere between 10 to 40 kilometres.
The self-guided tour costs $200 per person.
